Born in Venice, he graduated in architecture at IUAV in 1979, where he collaborated in restoration and urban restoration given respectively by Salvatore Boscarino, Mario Bellini and Amedeo. He associates the professional activity, directed to the existing buildings, with the research one, which addresses the issues related to the “conservation project “. Since 1998 he is an associate professor of the Faculty of Architecture of the University Roma Tre, running the course of architectural restoration. Since 2002 he is part of the Department of architecture and design at the Università degli Studi Roma Tre. From 1999 he directs the magazine “recovery and conservation”. He published fundamental technical texts and scientific papers participating in many conferences in Italy and abroad.
Anna Raimondi
Born in Cremona, she graduated at the Faculty of Architecture of Politecnico di Milano in 1997. After a master’s degree in survey, she works in architectural restoration combining the intense professional activity, throughout northern Italy, with the cultural studies that occurred with the publication of numerous technical articles. She is actively committed in the search for the drafting of the Historic Building Protocol within the Italy GBC.
